Terms of Service

DailyOK places a daily phone call from an AI voice to a person you choose, analyzes the conversation, and tells you how it went. DailyOK is run by Alec Hemenway (“we” or “us”). By creating an account or using DailyOK, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

Your account

You must be 18 or older. Give us accurate information, keep your sign-in secure, and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for activity on it.

Permission from the person we call

You must have permission from each person you set up for calls, or the legal authority to act for them. If you turn on recording, you must also have their consent to be recorded; some states require every person on a call to agree. Our caller is instructed to mention the recording early in the call, but getting consent is your responsibility.

DailyOK text alerts

You can choose to receive recurring DailyOK caregiver text alerts about check-in concerns and missed calls at the mobile number you provide. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Reply STOP to stop text alerts or HELP for help. You can also contact hemenway.alec@gmail.com. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Our Privacy Policy explains how we use your mobile number and consent information.

Not medical care, not an emergency service

DailyOK does not diagnose or treat any medical condition and is not a substitute for medical care. Scores and alerts are a signal for your family, not a diagnosis. Calls can fail or be missed, and alerts can be late or wrong. Do not rely on DailyOK in an emergency. If someone may be in danger, call 911.

AI can make mistakes

The conversation and the analysis are produced by AI. They can misunderstand, miss something, or get something wrong. Check anything important yourself.

Price

DailyOK is free while we test it. If we introduce paid plans, we'll show you the price and ask for your agreement before charging you.

Acceptable use

Don't use DailyOK to call someone without their permission, to harass or deceive anyone, to break the law, to access other people's information, or to disrupt the service.

Your information

You keep ownership of the information you give us. You allow us to use it to run and improve DailyOK as described in the Privacy Policy.

Ending service

You can stop at any time by emailing us to close your account. We may suspend or end access if you break these terms or to protect someone's safety.

Disclaimers and limits

DailyOK is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties, to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for harm from a missed call, a late or wrong alert, or an AI error. Our total liability to you is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the past 12 months or $100.

Changes

If we change these terms, we'll update the date at the top and, for a significant change, tell you in the app or by email first. Using DailyOK after a change means you accept it.
